Correction: The term “morning crew” refers to “JJ and the Morning Crew,” created by George Baier and Jim Johnson. Therefore, it’s a mistake to refer to the Mike and Drew Show or any other radio program as the “morning crew.”
George, with my sincere apologies, my mistake in fleeting motion on the keys. We stand duly corrected as noted. Correction dropping “term” has been rightfully made. Thank you kindly for visiting Motor City Radio Flashbacks. You guys by all definition was the best at what you did mornings during the long, long years you were on the FM dial broadcasting “rock” radio here in Detroit.
The term “Morning Crew” was created by me and Jim Johnson. Our show was called “JJ and the Morning Crew.”
To refer to The Mike and Drew Show or any other morning show as “The Morning Crew” is therefore a mistake.
I suppose we should be flattered that our trademark became a term of art, like Kleenex.
