I remember listening to Eddie Chase in middle school in Southfield, MI. I still remember his theme tune…….Come take a trip on the magic carpet……….and listen to the music of the stars. I sing it every now and then.. I wish I could find a copy of it.

FOR SOME REASON I WAS THINKING ABOUT ALL THE D J’S I LISTENED TO BACK IN THE 40’S AND 50’S. ONE IN PARTICULAR WAS EDDIE CHASE AND HIS “MAKE BELIEVE BALLROOM” THEME SONG EACH TIME THE PROGRAM BEGAN.. HE SURE WAS EXTREMELY LIKABLE AND WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT ALL THE RECORDING ARTIST!!! SURE WISH I COULD HERE HIS VOICE AGAIN.

I have never heard a broadcast of my grandfathers and wish I could find one, I’m sure they must exist somewhere!
