Motor City Radio Flashbacks is the only premier source for classic Detroit radio on the internet today. It has been a web page feature, free of any charge, since its inception on January 27, 2012. And this site shall remain always of no cost to anyone.
The central purpose for this page’s creation is to honor, remember, recall the days of classic Detroit radio (and all things related to) from decades’ past. The voices, the names, the DJs and personalities, the stations we grew to love, having listened to them on the radio dial. You will find them here. All here in one place.
But the site has always existed with added underlying costs and expenses to operate. Costs using this platform we have covered throughout the past ten years. However, the overall cost factor (including added fees) to retain this site has increased, albeit incrementally, through the years as well.
We have since generated a lot of daily traffic to this site. Our site’s Jetpack Automattic stat numbers (launched in 2016) reflects well of your daily visits here, and recorded daily. (See also our Visitor Counter — launched June 24, 2021 — on left bottom of our main page).
