A STAR IS BORN! ‘THE LIFE AND TIMES OF DICK PURTAN’

This tribute video was produced in April 2004 as part of the program to honor Dick Purtan with a Lifetime Achievement Award presented by The Adcraft Club of Detroit and the Detroit Radio Advertising Group. It features a special collection of personal Purtan photographs that span the history of his career. On February 11, 2010, Dick Purtan announced that he would retire from radio and WOMC on March 26, 2010 -- Steve Schram
