WKNR 1310: A 1965 KEENER DAYTIME COVERAGE MAP

KNORR BROADCASTING CORPORATION May 1, 1965

THE WKNR-AM 1310 KILOCYCLES TRANSMITTER COVERAGE

The WKNR transmitter and towers was located near I-94, between Monroe Blvd and Telegraph in Taylor, MI., in the county of Wayne. The 1310 frequency was a 5000 watt day (2 tower) and night (6 tower).

The Knorr Broadcasting Corporation purchased WKMH in 1956. The Knorr owners made the transition from WKMH to WKNR in late 1963.

The above map indicates the WKNR 1310 kilocycles daytime coverage in Detroit and into the extended surrounded areas in May 1965.
