  1. Had no idea that Ken had passed recent. Just learned the sad news. He been retired awhile. Remembering when he landed his first daily morning drive radio program after all the years of dedicated work in the industry. Wow! Ken goes back to the times & era he was broadcasting “Chuck Roast– Host with the most!” Playing authentic Oldies and call in listener programs. Once I met up with Ken and some of the personalities from RIF and WCSX at the former “JukeBox”, on Woodward Avenue in 1984, we get in the loft and play all kinds of Oldies, DJ together and dedicate songs, simulcast sometimes and enjoy people dancing on the wooden dance floor. Ken enjoyed coming to the Autorama at Cobo as did “live” remote broadcasts; very personable with crowd & audience and talk to them one-on-one, shaking hands. Very calm, cool fella. I am glad we made acquaintance those years. RIP my friend. Rock n Roll Heaven is yours VIC LUTES. Great Lakes Radio Legend
