I have heard many references to the radio character known as “Jack the Bellboy”. He was just a little before ‘my time’ as a youngster in the Detroit radio market. What was his “schtick”? Lee Alan had his obnoxious horn…what did JTBB do that distinguished him in Detroit radio?
