Looking for recordings of the classic CKLW ads heard ca. 1966 to the theme of The Magnificent Seven- can’t remember how it goes except there were several and one said “from the shores of….” to _____ (some Detroit area and neighboring Canadian towns)….THIS IS CK COUNTRY!” with the last bars of The Magnificent Seven theme ending it. I’d give anything to hear those again! I live in Cleveland and CKLW was the best rock station we could get than-” heard in 14 provinces and 27 states.” I was in the US Coast Guard in Detroit in 1965-66 and will never forget the thrill of being in Motown when it was all happening.
