CONGRATULATIONS! LEE ALAN

*****

At this time, Motor City Radio Flashbacks would like to extend our congratulations and best wishes to a Detroit radio legend, Lee Alan.

For those not fully aware, Lee Alan recently announced on his Facebook page he will be leaving his hometown Detroit — “for good” — relocating outside of Michigan (for the very first time) for a warmer location, somewhere, in the south.

And so at this time we say, THANK YOU, Lee Alan. For those special radio moments and wonderful memories you shared with us on Detroit radio “back in the ’60s” (and in the 1970s), “fun radio” as we remembered them on the dial — long time ago. 🙂

You may be leaving us. But remember always Detroit will hold a special place for you, here, in its heart. Always
