SOUL COAXING is the U.S. album recorded in 1967 and 1968 by the European international, French bandleader, orchestra director and composer, Raymond LeFevre. The album debuted on the Billboard LP chart on March 23, 1968. The album, having peaked at #117 on June 8, sustained a 16 week run on the Billboard Top 200, having been dropped from the chart on July 13, 1968.
The first track from the album was released as a U.S. single. “Soul Coaxing” or “Âme câline” is an instrumental single recorded in 1967 by the Raymond LeFèvre orchestra and released in 1968. It was a hit in the U.S. on the Four Corners label, peaking at #37 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in April near the end of its 12-week run that year.
Raymond LeFèvre died on June 27, 2008 at the age of 78. (Source: WiKipedia and Discogs)
