I remember my dad listening to Nightflight, late at night on WJR, in Ohio. Good memories, even though I was a teenager at the time, & didn’t care much for the music then.. I just liked it because my dadd & mom were entertained, & I got to stay up late, especiallly in the Summer, or on Friday nights during school.
In the early 50s when I was 18 I was in the army in Korea,I have never been away from home before and was very homesick,I had a shortwave radio and I could listen to WJR Radio,I would always listen to Nightflight the music would always relax me.
Are there any old broadcasts available of Night Flight 76 for download or to listen to??
There are a couple on YouTube only if partial shows

I loved listening to Jay Roberts and “Night Flight” on WJR. Is there an archive of his shows? The shows were so relaxing!

He was a customer of mine in the 70’s.

I will post a few Jay Roberts’ “Nightflight 760” aircheck portions I recorded from on WJR in the 1970s on my channel at some point soon. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfTI35Y2m-VkN7PJlZV9Nbg
