I worked at Cadillac Towers during the riots it was a pretty scary place there were armed national guards and tanks in Cadillac Square I had to take the bus there and home
I worked at the dpd first precinct the first day after the riots started. I spent 18 hours out there in front of a catholic church near 12th street and was never even offered a fricking glass of water while standing there protecting the building and its occupants from any untoward events. ahh, to serve and protect. just me and a shotgun and my service revolver.
