My favorite of ANY entertainer.
Each time I hear her or see her pic or vid I still easily see her as eventually having a M. Jackson-type impact on the industry. People think Berry & Motown would never have allowed it. I strongly believe Berry was all about hopping the fastest jet to the sky and Motown followed where he led. Given better life circumstances, her talent & persona were were unstoppable. Only question would have been how well she would have handled her inner demons at the very top. She was her own unique individ with many of the best qualities of Aretha, Diana, Dinah and even Marilyn. Woulda changed the game!

That’s what I think. She just capured me as a fan about two weeks ago. She would have had gigantic impact and would taken everything forward by leaps and bounds. Her intellect was as strong as her gorgeousness – it was part of her magnetism. She sings with such rhythm. Come on and See Me at the Roostertail is a great example. I love it. So much force!
Amazing artist and a beautiful person. I was fortunate to attend “Tammi Terrell Day” in Philadelphia back in June ‘2005. It was one of the most important days of my life. I met some wonderful friends and fans that day. Tammi brought all of us together in spirit and song. It was a pleasure to meet and talk with Tammi’s sister, Ludie Montgomery. A wonderful woman. I became a fan back in ’76, when I was 10 years old and have followed the career of this talented woman. Tammi is my favorite artist hands down. I connect with her music in a way that I don’t get from so many other artists. Thank you Tammi was sharing your beautiful gift with the rest of the world. You are missed xoxo
