I worked at WCAR in the mid-sixties as a “Gofer”. Go here, go there, etc. I learned much from the president, H.Y. Levinson.
However, my favorite at the station was Joe Bacarella. He was probably their favorite disc-jockey with the public. He was friendly, never arrogant, and genuinely interested in doing the best job he could.
Great place to work. Nice people.
