Hello. This is one awesome, tremendous website!! I have a question. I need to know the artist and name of the song from the Joe Evans CKLW aircheck from July 24, 1983. It runs from the 19:56 mark to the 20:04 mark. I know that is very brief, for a longer listen to the same song please check the Scott Miller aircheck from June 29, 1983 also on CKLW. The song runs from 56:38 to the end of the aircheck at 59:07. Thank you so much!!
Hi Dan, my apologies for the delay and for not responding in a timely manner. I do have a couple sources who are looking into that one particular song title/artist you picked up in the Scott Miller aircheck. I am curious as well, as I do recall hearing that forgotten song on CKLW in 1983. Hopefully one of them will come through with the answer you seek. Hi Jim : Thanks for your reply. I heard back from Scott Miller as well regarding the forgotten song on the aircheck. Scott thinks it may be a Canadian Content song. He suggested I go to a lyrics website using ca for Canada as opposed to a dot com. I tried that and had no such luck. From what I heard from Scott and now you we may be getting closer to an answer!! Best wishes and continued success to yourself and to Motor City Radio Flashbacks!! I would sure love to hear some more early 1980’s CKLW airchecks!!
