This 1994 WHND aircheck (w/Keith Allen & Rob Main) recently commemorated 24 years having passed (and a little more than 24 hours before) ‘Honey Radio’ signed off the air — for good — from the Detroit radio dial.
A legendary staple for having played “All Oldies” in the Detroit metropolitan area for over 20 years, WHND, famously known as ‘Honey Radio,’ would see its last broadcast day, the following day, Friday, November 25, 1994.
