MOTOWN FUNK BROTHER EDDIE WILLIS, DEAD AT 82

Eddie Willis, famed Motown guitarist, died this morning in his home in Gore Springs, Miss. He was 82.

Funk Brothers Motown guitarists Eddie Willis and Joe Messina, pictured together here, circa early 2000s. Joe Messina is the last surviving member of the original Funk Brothers, according to today’s Detroit Free Press article, 8/20/2018.
